About Utilityalderline
Independent cold-wallet reviewers since 2019
Registered Business
Utilityalderline Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name under which we operate. We are incorporated in the Republic of Korea and maintain our primary office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Established 2019
Utilityalderline began in 2019 when founder Hye-jin Park, then working as a chartered accountant with several long-term Bitcoin-holding clients, noticed a recurring problem: people who had done everything right — hardware wallets, metal backups, multi-sig ceremonies — still could not produce a clear, current picture of their holdings when asked.
What started as informal balance checks for three clients in a rented meeting room grew into a dedicated practice. By 2021 we moved into our current Gangnam office and added quarterly reconciliation and inheritance documentation reviews to the original comprehensive audit.
Our Approach
We treat cold-wallet review as a craft, not a checklist. Every session begins with listening: how you acquired your coins, which devices you have rotated through, and what keeps you awake at night. Only then do we open a laptop — always on our side of the desk, never connected to your signing devices.
Our reports are written for humans, not algorithms. Plain language, printed appendices, and no jargon unless you ask for it.
The Team
Hye-jin Park — Lead Reviewer. Former chartered accountant (KICPA). Holds BTC since 2014. Specialises in multi-device reconciliation and family multi-sig arrangements.
Dae-woo Kim — Backup & Documentation Specialist. Background in archival science. Inspects paper, metal, and encrypted backup media for deterioration and storage risks.
Yuna Choi — Client Coordinator. Manages scheduling, preparation checklists, and follow-up correspondence. First point of contact for new inquiries.
Values
- Privacy first: No seed phrases, no private keys, no photographs of your materials.
- Accuracy over speed: We would rather extend a session than deliver a report with open questions.
- Plain honesty: If your backup setup has a serious flaw, we say so directly and help you plan a fix.
Community
We sponsor the monthly Seoul Bitcoin Holders meetup (informal, no pitches) and contribute field notes on cold-storage practices to our journal. We do not sell hardware, manage funds, or accept referral fees from wallet manufacturers.
